Part treasure hunt, part ‘Amazing Race’, part puzzle – the Melbourne City Romp is a charity fundraising event like no other!

Through the outstanding fundraising efforts of the 2010 Melbourne City Rompers and their generous supporters, $118,000 was raised to help support the Burnet’s ongoing fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria.

The three projects to benefit directly from the Rompers fundraising efforts are:

Each year a staggering 11 million people, many of them young children, will lose their lives to infectious diseases, many of which are preventable.

By giving generously to Burnet’s major fundraising event, our Romp supporters not only helped to progress our research but also made a very positive step towards ending the needless deaths of millions of people.
