Over $100,000 worth of prizes will be given away as part of the Romp.
The best part is that the vast majority of prizes are awarded randomly. Simply by Romping on October 19, you’ll be in with a chance of having your name drawn to win one of the fabulous Romp prizes.

Dress up for an extra chance to win prizes!
The Romp takes place early in Spring, which is a perfect time to celebrate the start of warm weather by getting dressed up (or dressed down). If you're adjudged one of the top 10 most creatively dressed teams on Romp day, you'll be in the draw for one of the following fabulous prizes from Melbourne's favourite Department Store
1st place $1000 Myer Shopping Spree
2nd place $500 Myer Shopping Spree
3rd place $250 Myer Shopping Spree
4th place to 10th place $100 Myer Shopping Spree
To be eligible for these prizes, all you have to do is to dress in something very creative, funny or silly. All team members don't have to be dressed exactly the same, although sticking to a theme would help. To get your brains into gear, here are some possible dress-up themes you might like to consider:

Kids Romp Passport Prizes
All children aged 12 and under get a Romp passport which gets stamped at every Checkpoint you go to. At the post Romp Concert our MC will be handing out prizes to kids who have been to certain Checkpoints. Some of the prizes include:

Regional Romper Challenge
Out of towners, show those city slickers what you’re made of and be rewarded for the long trip. If your team is from Victoria and travels more than 100km to get to the Romp, your team will go in the draw for a travel adventure valued at $3000 from G.A.P. Adventures. For a team to be eligible for this prize draw, all team members must reside at an address more than 100km from the Melbourne GPO, only one team winner will be drawn from all eligible teams. National Romper Challenge
Romp in 2 states and win! All teams who participate in Brisbane City Romp on 21 September AND Melbourne City Romp in October will go in the draw for a $5,000 Myer Shopping Spree. To be eligible for this prize, the team name must be the same for both events, and at least 75% of individual team members who participate in Melbourne City Romp must participate in the same team at Brisbane City Romp (this will be checked prior to awarding of prize).
