Fundraising

More than $118,000 was raised through the 2010 Melbourne City Romp to support Burnet's ongoing 'Big Three':HIV, TB and malaria research programs.

Fundraising was an important part of the 2010 Melbourne City Romp and we encouraged all our Rompers’ families, friends and work colleagues to get behind participants who Romped for a Cure to help the Burnet Institute.

More than 2,500 Rompers took up the challenge to raise money for the fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria.

In turn, we rewarded fundraising efforts by not only awarding bonus Romp points before the Romp even started but by offering terrific prizes across three separate draws – Gold, Silver and Bronze.

•    Any Team Member in a Team which raised $300 or more had a chance to win prizes in the Gold Prize Pool.
•    Any Team Member in a Team which raised $200 or more goes into the Silver Prize Pool draw.
•    Any Team Member in a Team which raised $100 or more wasentered into the Bronze Prize Pool draw.

Thanks for your support with your fundraising!
