Dollars raised so far by Rompers for Burnet:
Started at Alexandra Gardens, 180 St Kilda Road, Southbank
Melbourne’s corporate sector took on the challenge of being involved in the Romp - a challenge like no other…
The Corporate Romp had the same challenges as the Melbourne City Romp except all the corporate teams started at the same time - 12:30 from Alexandra Gardens and had four hours to compete in the contest against the other corporate teams.
This is Australia’s most exciting new inclusive corporate team event that supports the Burnet Institute’s fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria.
Sunday 21 March - 5:30pm until late
Riverland Bar, Vaults 1-9 Federation Wharf, Federation Square.
After they finished Romping around the city, our Corporate rompers were invited to come down and have a drink on the house at the Official Corporate After Party proudly hosted by Riverland Bar and Cafe on the banks of the Yarra at Federation Wharf.
They presented their corporate bib to receive entry and also had their name on the official guest list. Strictly 18 and over function.
Proudly hosted by Riverland Bar and Cafe

For the first time, the start location was at Alexandra Gardens, 180 St Kilda Rd, Southbank opposite the Arts Centre and adjacent to the Yarra River.
Corporate teams were involved in a mass start at 12:30 and had four hours to complete the event but they could finish earlier if they wanted to.
Partners and children were welcome to join Corporate rompers and their work mates, however at least half of the team members must have worked for the same company. Everyone could participate - no matter what age, gender or fitness level.
Provided interaction with more iconic Melbourne venues on a single day than any other event and features brain teasing challenges.
Mobile phones were used to answer Checkpoint Challenges and track Team’s progress.
A bumper prize pool of $100,000 in prizes were up for grabs for our fundraisers. The winning corporate team was awarded a trophy.
A great day for team building and networking enjoyed by more than 100 companies.
600+ volunteers helped make Romp Day happen.
Created fun, exciting hype in the city described by Rompers as being similar to the experience of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games.
High profile corporate and media partners.
Great opportunity to network with other corporates at the post event networking function.
