Burnet’s flagship fundraising event is accessible for all – no matter what your age, gender or fitness level. It’s a great day out to share with family, friends or work colleagues and discover aspects of Melbourne you never knew existed. Up to 20,000 Rompers from all over Australia are expected to take part!
Rompers are encouraged to raise funds for Burnet Institute’s Romp for a Cure. All fundraising by Teams will assist Burnet in its fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria, some of the world’s worst infectious diseases which cause the death of seven million people each year.
The countdown has started – see you in Melbourne on 21 March, 2010!
As more and more prizes roll in, spilling the prize pool well over the $100,000 mark, in this last week before Romp Day, we encourage you all to raise at least $100 for Burnet to ensure you don’t miss out on sharing in our bumper prize pool bonanza.
