Dollars raised so far by Rompers for Burnet:
More than 12,000 Rompers involved in 2400 teams brought the streets of Melbourne alive on Sunday 21 March in the Melbourne City Romp.
In 2010 we had a New Date, New Sponsors, New Corporate event, New Twists!
There was new challenges, new quirky and iconic checkpoints to visit, greater emphasis on fundraising for Romp for a Cure with awesome prizes won, PLUS all the fun, frivolity and colour that makes the Romp such a unique event.
Part treasure hunt, part ‘Amazing Race’, part puzzle – the Melbourne City Romp is definitely a charity fundraising event like no other!!
Rompers raised more than $110,000 to assist Burnet in its fight against The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria, some of the world’s worst infectious diseases which cause the death of seven million people each year.

The Romp is all about taking part so in our eyes, everyone is a winner. That being said, for the competitive ones amongst you, the winners based upon total points are revealed below.
Rompers and city-goers alike who passed by the Young & Jackson’s electronic billboard (opposite Flinders St Station) on Romp day could be forgiven for seeing multiple spots before their eyes – 984 to be exact!
Uplift Events presents to you the 2010 Great Amazing Race. The event is proudly supporting the Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation, and will combine elements from the Amazing Race, Great Melbourne Pursuit and orienteering into one exciting urban adventur
