Fundraisers among the big winners in 2010!

THANKS TO ALL THE ROMPERS WHO HELPED US RAISE OVER $116,000 FOR BURNET

We encouraged all our Rompers to get behind Burnet’s Romp for a Cure goal to help us fight The ‘Big Three’: HIV, TB and malaria.

In turn, we rewarded their fundraising efforts by offering more than $100,000 in a bumper prize pool that was awarded randomly across three separate draws – Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Gold Prize Pool:

Any Team Member in a Team which raised $300 or more had a chance to win prizes in the Gold Prize Pool.

Extra Prizes

A number of prizes were also awarded randomly on Romp Day from the stage at the Romp Concert to Rompers who were in attendance.

PLUS there were great prizes for teams who scored the most points in each Romp category - Family & Friends, Schools, Universities and Corporate Romp.

There were also a whole heap of extra prizes from most creative Team name, to wackiest fancy dress outfit, to best Team Profile picture, plus many more.

Kids Romp Passport Prizes

All children aged 12 and under received a Romp passport which was stamped at every Checkpoint they visited.  At the post Romp Concert our MC handed out prizes to kids who had been to certain Checkpoints.

Regional Romper Challenge

Any regional teams who travelled more than 100km to get to the Romp went into a draw to win some awesome prizes!

To be eligible for this prize draw, all team members must have resided at an address more than 100km from the Melbourne GPO. Each team member was then entered into the draw, with one lucky team member drawn from all eligible teams. See the RULES on this site for full conditions.
